Uji Sencha "Kofu"

This tea is crafted from Samidori tea leaves. Samidori is one of the varieties of Uji tea and is well suited for MATCHA because of its sweetness, umami and strong aroma, never the less it is also excellent as a brewed green tea.

The tea is blended with first and second picked tea leaves. The first harvest is collected in May and the second one during summer. As a result the tea has a moderate bitterness and refreshing taste. This tea is ideal with any meal.
